Recently I stopped by our local Sherwin Williams to pick up some paint and was able to talk with the employees there about some paint choices. If you have ever stood in a paint swatch section then you probably know how overwhelming it can be to find the perfect color for your home and the atmosphere you want to create. That’s why I thought it could be fun to do a post about popular paint colors for each room to help you decide what pops of color to add to your space.

Green is a perfect color to place in a bedroom. It is the color of nature, tranquility, and health, and it can be very soothing. Pair it with a tan or white trim, and you are on your way to a nice, cozy atmosphere.

The most popular living room color is gray. It is a color that can be dressed up or down. No matter your style, you can find a gray to fit perfectly with your modern, shabby chic, classic, or retro living room look!
I know how intimidating it can be to add color to your home. If you are not ready to add that pop of bold color. Well then that is okay too! When I was talking with the employees at Sherwin Williams they were so kind to tell me what the most popular indoor and outdoor colors are around the valley! As it turns out, Gray and Beige is in! The employee recommended Kilim Beige as an indoor color paired with Dover White. He also said that Mega Greige and Alabaster make a great statement on the exterior!
